The Art about Love
Due to Valentine’s Day we tend to connect February with Love. It is a good opportunity to focus on the subject of love and erotic motives in European Art. Should we call erotic Pompeian frescoes a pornography? Why were some romanesque churches decorated with the figures that show their genitals? What biblical and mythological stories were most commonly used by the artists to show an erotic scene?
All of these questions will be answered on February 20th in the restaurant Konfederacka 4 at 7 p.m. I invite you to an open lecture about the erotic motives in European art. The lecture is dedicated for adults only 😉
