Magdalena Łanuszka :: in Jun 1, 2020 :: in Media, News :: 0 comments

Receiving a stipend from Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage in a project “Culture on-line”, I am now producing short videos on selected art-pieces from Polish collections. Every movie will have English subtitles, and they will be published every two weeks on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/posztukiwania

  1. The first one is on 14th century ivory casket from Cracow Cathedral, called “Casket of Queen Hedwig of Poland”

2. Second is on the early-15th century Madonna of Krużlowa (the National Museum in Cracow):

3. Third is about a famous 19th century canvas “Stańczyk” by Jan Matejko:

4. Fourth is about engraving “Virgin with Child” by Albrecht Dürer:

5. Fifth is about a Nazi loot: Battle between Carnival and Lent by Pieter Brueghel II (from the National Museum in Cracow):

6. Sixth is about medieval illuminated manuscripts of “Roman de la Rose” from the National Library in Warsaw and Princes Czartoryski Library in Cracow:
