Friends of York Art Gallery Talk
Since October 2014 until March 2015 I am working as a Research Assistant for ‘NIRP in the North’. The National Inventory Research Project (NIRP) was created to provide research on pre-1900 Continental European oil paintings in various British collections. Information gathered will be added to the online resource ‘NICE Paintings’, which is published on the Visual Arts Data Service website. “My” collection is the City Art Gallery in York, which contains over 300 continental European paintings. Next Monday, on February 23rd, I will have an honour to give a talk about my work here at the Lunch Meeting of the Friends of York Art Gallery (Bedern Hall, Bartle Garth, York, 12.30 pm.)
