The most famous masterpieces of Polish art
The cycle of the lectures that concentrates on the most famous masterpieces of Polish Art, dedicated for the Third Age Universities. Each lecture is focusing on 2 or 3 masterpieces, that are precisely described – I talk not only about the themes and the style of the masterpieces, but also set them in the context of the times they were created in (history, culture, politics etc.). On one hand these masterpieces are familiar for most of my listeners, but on the other hand they often don’t know what stories and anecdotes are behind these masterpieces.
